Iβm so proud of you babe! You poured your heart and soul into making this book as incredible as it is. I canβt wait for the world to cook from it and for people to get to share this beautiful food around a table with their loved ones. β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
When you come to LA please consider bringing some cookbooks for women who lost their homes in the fires! I have four friends in my cookbook club who lost their homes along with their beautiful cookbook collections. Eating Out Loud was our first cookbook as a group we loved it so much we did a brunch follow up. We were really anticipating having fun with Tahini Baby and are not sure where everyone will be when it comes out.
I have two cases of Eating Out Loud that I'm coordinating with Gaby Dulkan to send to LA and I'm pushing for Tahini Baby as well π€ I'm so sorry for everyone going through this βmy heart breaks for anyone who has lost their home. Sending so much love!
Thank you so much! Your food has nourished all our families and inspired our kitchens. Several of my friends who are displaced are trained chefs/restauranteurs/caterers and I think losing their pots, pans, pantries, and cookbook collections is probably one of the most painful material losses for them. What Gaby is doing is also amazing! We appreciate the support of our foodie mamas!
SO EXCITED for you to come to SF! I am a huge fan of you and your recipes, can't wait for these divine veg recipes! I am also going to back Heather below on the fact that Arsicault is a MUST visit when in the city!
Portland, OR! Powellβs is an incredible bookstore. Yikes, so many good restaurants! Everything within Sesame Collective (Mediterranean Exploration Company, Dolly Olive, and more), G-Love, Kann (by Gregory Gourdet), Hapa Pizza (Thai pizza π€€), so many more! So many great places/people for you! XOXO
Are you coming to Washington DC? If so, Politics and Prose is an amazing, well known bookstore and great place to schedule a personal visit and presentation of Tahini Baby. Please come!
Arsicault in SF for THE BEST PASTRIES!! The chocolate almond croissant is DIVINE! The kouign-amann is chefβs kiss! The ham and cheese is wow! Itβs all just THE BEST!! You canβt go to SF and not pay it a visit!! 45 min wait time in line will be sooo worth it!! Congrats on your Tahini Baby, love your recipes lady!!
Also love your ins and outs list. Here are a few of mine.
Ins:
-reading more books (at least 1 nonfiction and 1 fiction per month)
-more date nights, at least 2 per month (we also have 2 little ones)
-earlier bed time like before 10p (this is tough for me)
-heatless hair curlers (want to lean into trying to do something more with my hair but only if it doesnβt require much time)
Outs:
-Instagram (for the month of January at least, 2 weeks in and wow thereβs so much less *noise* in my daily life)
-nagging my husband about little things lol
-buying brand new clothes (at least reallllly reducing how much and often. thrifting is so much more sustainable and the thrill that it brings me is delightful)
Love your ins/outs list!! earlier bedtime and more date nights are definitely on my list too π and noted about Arsicault β can't wait to try it ππΌ
If you come to NYC, host something at Ella's espresso and wine bar on the Upper East Side! It's an Israeli coffee shop with delicious middle eastern food. Totally your vibe!
Hi, Can't wait to get my hands on your book. I saw you this morning on GMA. Where can I get your Tahini Baby Tee Shirt. I know there will be a huge market for them.
